Course Goals and Achievements:

I had three goals for this course. The first of which was to take better pictures. This goal was accomplished by my second and third goal: mastering lighting and compostion. During our second assignment, I really learned a lot about the different types of lighting and compostion. This in return, helped me take better pictures. The challenges we did in class, helped me apply the knowledge I learned. From my past pictures and new pictures, I can now understand the way different types of compostion and lighting can make the image better or worse. I also enjoyed learning about a Steve McCurry Photography style and and undertand what makes certain images great instead of just good.
